SFU Altered Reality Club

The weeklies are will be starting the week of clubs days, which is May 17th and 18th, and the titles are confirmed. So look forward to Monster, Sexy Commando, Iriya No Sora UFO No Natsu, Maid in Akihabara, and Space Symphony Maetel. Also stay tuned for day, room, and time info. I have a lot of people saying Wednesday and a lot of people saying Thursday, now lets see what room bookings says...

We will be at the Summer Clubs Days on Wednesday, May 17 and again on Thursday the 18th signing people up from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. It should be outdoors in the convocation mall right in front of the library so find us there. Come and visit us and renew your membership or become a new member for another semester. The Price is $2 Dollars for SFU students and $5 Dollar for non-students, well worth the cost of giving you something to do for the summer.

What is going to be happening?
Pretty much anything within reason of course. This event was a big hit last year and it is returning with vengeance as a last ARC kick before some of us part for the summer.

Will there be TVs?
We will be trying to get some but I can't say for sure.

Why a sleepover?
Because we live in the rotunda. Lets face it some of us attempted to leave but you just ended up coming back.

What should I bring?
-Food... We are not going to be feeding you any main dishes but if everyone chips in with some type of food. (Like the good haul we had at the Christmas party) then we will -Lap tops. We can extension cord the whole rotunda.

-Costumes! Yeah that's right... If there is enough interest I am willing to do some photo shoots for people at night at sfu because it's a really nice area especially in the dark and there will be no one there...XD

[NOTE TO ALL EXECS]There will be a small exec meeting @ 5:00pm before the start of the sleepover to discuss positions over the summer. So be there or Thea will snap you in half...XD

We've had alot of different chatter in the irc channel lately (where the greatest ARC numbers hang out that I have contact with) about the different possible base designs for the site. I've found a few more I like, I havn't fully decided which I like the best, so I decided to make it a poll.

So yea, everyone go vote as soon as possible. Once we pick with base / colorscheme / etc then I'll start tying it more towards ARC.

It snuck up on me, next time we'll be more prepared for the massive influx of anime celebrators!!!

Welcome everyone to our new home and our new site on the world wide web. Please make sure to update any bookmarks to www.sfuarc.com , but if you are lazy like me, Gavin, who designed this wonderful little page was going to insert a bit of script in order to autoredirect anyone who went to the old link to the new one. So feel free to look around and check out all the areas on the site including the revamped weeklies page , manga library , and forums . I hope everyone is excited as me with this new site.

The first general meeting has been called for Wednesday Jan. 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the rotunda. The agenda is pretty much open to whatever the club wants to discuss, but we also have to formly elect all the execs and determine what stuff we are going to be getting up to this semester. So bring ideas!!! Also we will be discussing the web page, gaming nights, the weeklies, and the new spending forms that I have created. So see everyone there.

Weeklies are set for this semester in Images Theatre starting this Thursday, Jan 19, 2006 at 3:30 pm. So come on down and check them out. Also check out the weeklies page which I just updated, and welcome to the new semester too!
