Hey all!

This is Luca, your secretary for the summer. I'm not too sure what's the lo-down on this semestre but I'll give it a shot.

1) Execs!

President/Anime Director - Jevon. Jevon will also do room bookings, and be the big kahuna, basically. He gets us our anime to watch, and picks it with the help of the AAC(? ARC Anime Council?).
Vice-president/Social Director - Thea. This lovely lady plans fun events for us Arc members, including picnics, sleepovers and lots of excellent outings.
Treasurer- Tammy. Tammy's been the Treasurer for the last few semestres. She keeps track of the club funds.
Public Relations/Gaming Director - Bryson. The PR maintains good relationships with local organizations and whatnot. Annnd he tries to get us good deals on games, anime and other things.
Anime Librarian - Jesse. :3 Jesse gets us good anime . If there's something you want to see added to our collection or something you want to borrow, this is your guy.
Manga Librarian - Erin. Welcome to the team. ^^ Erin will be our new librarian who keeps track of our collection of manga. Ask her for the manga you wanna read from the list or suggest a title to her of you don't see it on the list!
Art Director - April. April has 'teh amazing art skillz'. A returning Art Director she is. She also has a crazy, cool, blue streak in her hair. She holds art contests.
Webmaster - Gavin. He maintains our ARC site so prettily. Go visit it. Now.
Advertising Director - Lyn. She keeps her eye on the ARC announcement board within that circular room known as the Rotunda. She makes it pretty and non-vandalized.
Secretary - Alice. The one who wrote this email. I sit, take notes and emails ppls.

2) Events! Our upcoming shiny events!

A) Art contest - There's an art contest going down. Join it, join it now or else. Lol, jk jk! Seriously, join it though. It's fun, easy and the prizes are awesome. :3 And you'll make April happy! April will email details out to the list soon (I think O.o).

B ) Summer Solstice - With the warmth of the season caressing the land, the celebration of the Summer Solstice brings forth a truly joyous recognition that we can now enjoy the fruits of our labors in the past season. Falling on or about June 22nd, the Summer Solstice is a time of light and of fire. It is a time to reflect upon the growth of the season: the seeds that were planted in the earth and the seeds planted in our souls. It is a time of cleansing and renewal. It is a time of love and growth as well.

Now, you may be wondering what this has to do with ARC. Well, seeing as the day the Weeklies is happening just coicidentally falls on the Summer Solstice, I thought I'd bring this to light. There will be two parts to this contest I am creating!
1) I want you to bring me, Luca, what you feel is the best representation of summer! I will be the judge and anyone can partake in this contest. Be creative, folks! Leave your icon of summer on the table at the front of the room. (I will have a sign!) and at first break, I will pick what I feel is the most suited item. The winner will receive a free Bubble Tea from my own pocket. :3
2) I also want you to dress up! Whoever is dressed to the nines on Thursday will be winner of the Summer Solstice Arc Day. Hair, shoes, make up, accessories, whatever works for you. I want to see everyone dressed fancy! I myself will be dressed up as well! :3 Don't feel shy now. The winner of this will also receive a Bubble Tea from me.
event, I feel it would only be right How's that for incentive, folks? ^_^ The best part, even exces may take part! I will be the sole judge of this contest. And trust me, I won't pick myself as the winner! Since this contest isn't an official ARC, it'd only be right if I paid for the prizes. ^_^

3) Weeklies!

Just an important note! From now on, this week and on, the Weeklies will be held in AQ 3003! The time is still 3:30-8PM, we're just moving rooms.
Showings: Monster, Space Symphony Maetel, Sexy Commando, and Iriya No Sora UFO No Natsu.

4) Errata!
We have the usual, fun end-of-the-semestre social coming soon.
There's been talk of camping trips, karaoke, pubbing and other things. If you want to organize something, visit our website!
