Alright ARC members, given that we are all avid geeks partaking in our respective medias there have to be SOME Monster Hunter fans out there.

I speak, of course, of the award winning PSP (and ps2) game "Monster Hunter" wherein, you hunt monsters. The newest game was recently released in North America and I am desperately looking for a group to hunt with.

For those of you familiar with the series, I'm a mid level hunter who prefers melee to ranged combat, and favors the longsword and hammer, though I am familiar with most weapons. My armor collection isn't extensive, but I like to think that what I have is quality material. I've only just picked up MHFU, so I'm not too familiar with the Feyline companion and would appreciate any help in raising the little rascals. If you're not interested in playing because you don't want to start over, fear not! your farm, guild card and completed quests carry over from Monster Hunter Freedom 2!

For those of you Unfamiliar with the series, I'd be willing to help acclimate you to the game and help with guild quests until you get on your feet. Additionally, I'll give you the fair warning that I never received: This is not exclusively a stats/equipment based RPG. This game revolves around player knowledge, skill and timing. Yes there are hundreds of collectible armor sets, and hundreds of weapons, but they're all useless if you don't have the patience to dodge and weave until the opportunity to kick the Tigrex in the ass arises. This is not Phanasty Star, or Diablo, But it is just as, if not more addictive. You have been warned.

Though I imagine it will be easier to get a group together in September once classes start again, I'm available right away!

Good Hunting!
