I will be at every Gaming Night, generally from 2:30 to somewhere in the range of 6:30-7:30. I'll have multiple decks, and be looking to play a lot of Magic. (I'm also happy to teach new players, so if you just want to try the game out, that's perfectly fine too.)

I won't be available Tuesday June 16th, either. As I'll be working on the lab again. This may happen a handful more times throughout the semester, as unfortunately Tuesday afternoons/evenings are the best time for my lab group to meet. If this keeps up, I may start showing up to the gaming nights after the lab work, we'll see.

Also, someone mentioned possible booster draft or tournaments or other things. While I cant afford that, I have a different idea:
Peasant Magic!!!! The format where each deck has at most 5 uncommons and zero rares!! including land and sideboards.
One more thing, are there gaming shops around burnaby that run casual magic, or tournaments or what have you, post here!!!
I know that Craving A Game at Surrey Central Mall holds weekly booster drafts, casual drop ins, and Friday Night Magic. Dunno much about the Burnaby area. Sorry. ^^;
I don't play any competitive Magic, but I know that Magic Stronghold is supposed to be a good place. Ages 3 & Up in Metrotown might be running a few events, but I'm not sure.
Metropolis Comics & Hobbies at Metro (formerly known as Ages 3 & Up) does indeed still run FNM, to the best of my knowledge.
Thanks for the replies. I do not really play competitive magic anymore either, but I have a list of TRADING wants/needs that are often easily filled by people at a tournament or casual store setting. On that note if anyone needs specific cards u can post or PM me, I have a gross amount of old cards.
In the fall semester I will be around tuesdays, 2:30 - 7:30 in the rotunda for epic magic games.
If anyone does not have cards and wants to join in, I might be able to lend out a deck or two. I have both regular casual decks as well as peasant decks.
If you dont know how to play Magic the gathering and want to learn, the fastest way to learn is to join in.
