not particularly. checking such a low bandwidth site like this with broadband makes it pretty much a sec at most, and i dont think the server sees any real load that puts any big stresses on it that might result in anything we can emperically measure. if u really want to know, might want to run some stress tests or something on the server and check your logs?

when you spend this much time with servers, you notice small changes. and some of my other sites have sped up emensly.

on another note, the site does feel a lot faster... since i used to notice a bit of delay before and now it's pretty much gone. karma +1 for gavin :3
